Our Story

Jeany (Geanni) and Melissa were destined to work together. They share more than their place of birth: Brazil.

After moving to Victoria, they were introduced to each other by a mutual friend and learned that they were both working in the modeling and film industry.

As two women with a diverse background, they both understand the challenges of being minorities in the industry. They also share their passion for changing the world through their relationships and interactions.

They are both hard working women and passionate about modeling, acting and digital content creation. They have over 30 years of experience in the industry combined and understand how it works from the talent perspective.

This passion and experience led them to the idea of creating an agency that empowers the diversity seen in their local and global communities to be represented.

Since this initial spark, they have expanded their friendship to working long hours, exploring new ideas, and wanting to bring innovation to Vancouver Island and BC, they founded DEI Talent Management Inc. in March 2021.
